Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are hoping to make a handsome profit on the sale of their California home after putting the estate on the market for a massive $60 million (?37.5 million).
The talk show host and her wife bought the sprawling Beverly Hills compound in 2007 for $29 million (?18 million). The property features a swimming pool, fitness centre, staff quarters, expansive gardens and a 10-car underground garage, as well as two additional guest houses in the grounds.
The couple reportedly bought up several properties and demolished them to create one large secluded estate.
They have now put the whole compound on the market for a staggering $60 million (?37.5 million) - which would net them more than $30 million (?18.8 million) profit. They are also prepared to sell the main house separately from the guest houses for a reported $49 million (?30.6 million), according to RealEstalker.com.
